“Learning is the only thing the mind never exhausts, never fears, and never regrets.”
-Leonardo Da Vinci
Hello, folks! I am a graduate student, pursuing a PhD in Economics. I come from one country, live in another, and go to school in yet another. Grad school can get very stressful and frustrating, and the more stressed I am, the more I lean towards some form of creative expression to refresh the grey matter. My creative interests are many, and I often flit about from one to another. I like to cook, bake, decorate cakes, experiment with new recipes; make do-it-yourself (DIY) natural body products, such as lotion, bath salts and soaps; craft home decor; make candles; engage in nail art; crochet… the list goes on! More than anything, I enjoy learning new things and in today’s world condensed by the Internet, there is much inspiration to be found all around!
In this blog, I will write about whatever it is I happen to be doing at the moment – cooking, baking, home decor-ating, creating bath products, reading, travelling, and maybe, I will even share some thoughts from the Palace of Her Distress (aka, the PhD).
I hope you enjoy reading this blog as much as I do writing on it!
