Hello, folks! I’m back for the last time this year with a mani I love. As with so many of my recent posts, it’s an old one from the camera roll, done in the late summer, but it’s a special one to me. I am in love with the base polish and the image I reverse-stamped and I wore this one for many, many days.
The base is two coats of the stunning Tonic Polish Lagoon, and the name could not have been more perfect! The base is a green-leaning teal jelly with vibrant blue-purple shimmer that holds its own in the teal base. The shimmer shifts very easily from blue to a pinkish purple.
On all but the ring finger, I stamped some waves from Creative Shop plate-51 using a marble of stamping polishes that I applied randomly on the image. I used Born Pretty white (#4), light blue (#9) and Ingalla (BW03).
On the ring finger, I reverse-stamped the seahorse image from the same plate. I stamped with Moyra black stamping polish and filled in with coral, orange and yellow stamping polishes.
That wraps up the year of nail art for me. My goal when we came on holiday last month was to try and post as many older manis as possible while on holiday. I think I have been somewhat successful; I’ve managed to post ten of them and only have two or three left to go.
We’re returning home tomorrow and I’ll probably need a couple of days before I can get back to blogging. Baby jetlag is no joke, I tell you! Here’s wishing all my readers a very happy and prosperous new year!
