Hello, folks! Happy Halloween! We went with a spider-theme for our Halloween decorations this year, so I decided to wear a simple mani in that theme for the day.
I seem to do this every year – as the weather starts to cool down, I crave texture nails, Zoya Pixie Dusts in particular. I have a near-complete collection of these at this point and I love them so much! Also, I cannot seem to recognize myself this year; I’ve never been big on oranges and reds, but this year I seem to have orange on my brain! I’ve been lusting after orange polishes all year!
The base of this mani is the gorgeous and sparkly Dhara by Zoya. I feel this is a very flattering shade on me and will wear it again. To be honest, there is only one Pixie Dust I own that I’m actually disappointed by, so this comes as no surprise. I kept it simple, and just stamped all the nails with images from Born Pretty BP-L057 and black stamping polish.
My go-to black stamping polish is Moyra, but I’m completely out and waiting for my group buy haul to arrive. In the meantime, I’ve been using Born Pretty black stamping polish. I have tried the 15 ml bottle in the past, but I really dislike that one to this date. However, this new smaller bottle has been much better and is very opaque and fluid. Also, I’m so happy to be back to my natural nails.
Whew! That was three posts in 12 hours! What are your plans for Halloween? I’ll be so sad to take down all the decorations in the front lawn. I’ll be back soon with some more nail art. Until then, toodles!
