“It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in possesion of a large fortune, must be in want of wife…”
Remember, last week when I posted my Valentine’s manicure, I said I was wearing something on my nails that totally had me guffawing? Unfortunately, I was not able to take pictures in my lightbox due to various reasons, but I just had to share it anyway!
This has to be one my favourite manis ever! This image of the Grim Reaper’s heart hands is so adorable, I couldn’t get over it! Of course, it’s a Creative Shop plate – I adore the random images Oksana always seems to include in her plates!
On my thumb, index and pinky fingers, I am wearing two coats of the stunning Tonic Polish Novitiate. I almost didn’t buy this polish because in the bottle it looked so similar to Lunar Lust. Huh! It is one of my top polishes now (to be fair, so is Lunar Lust). I have to include a shot with flash to show off the gorgeous aqua glow of Novitiate:
Over that, I stamped using Color Club French White and Moyra black polish, and Moyra Vintage 2 (plate-25). I end up using this scroll image everytime I want something light and delicate; it might be my most often-used image. On my index finger, I double-stamped over the scroll background using Moyou London Literature-01, a plate dedicated to Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice. What better plate for Valentine’s Day, amirite?
On my middle finger, I am wearing three coats of OPI Solitaire, a sparkly white textured polish. Over that, I stamped the Reaper image using Moyra black stamping polish and Creative Shop plate-150. On my ring finger, I have on three coats of Zoya Oswin, a pixie dust with a mix of small and medium-sized glitter. I used a dotting tool to make the spots on it using the other three colours.
I felt so awkward wearing the pretty, but uncharacteristic heart mani, and this one brought me right back into my comfort zone! I’ve been on the lookout for a wife for this lonely soul; if you have someone in mind, drop me a comment below!
