Hello, folks! I have a super-short post for you today. The last couple of weeks have been busy, but I managed to (finally) do some quick Christmas-themed nail art. We’re planning to take Baby ACD for a photo with Santa tomorrow and I hope he’ll be impressed by my nails! 😉
On my thumb, index and pinky fingers, I’m wearing a single thick coat of A-England Anne Boleyn. If you know me, you’ll know I’m not a red-wearer, but boy, did this polish blow me away completely! The vibrant red shimmer within the rich, jewel-toned red base just leaps off the nail and makes you float in its depth! I love my small collection of A-England polishes, but this one is hands down one of my top polishes of all time! Enough of my raving; I’m contemplating giving this polish its own swatch post soon…
Moving on, on the other two fingers, I have Tonic Polish (were you really expecting a full manicure with no Tonics involved?!?) You’ll Move Mountains, a gorgeous, rich emerald green polish that holds its own next to Anne Boleyn. I stamped on all but one of the fingers with Maybelline Bold Gold and Born Pretty plate BPX-L008. On the ring finger, I reverse-stamped using Pure Ice Superstar and filled in the image using Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Rapid Red and a gold Sharpie marker. I decided to go with a matte top coat because… well, because I love matte nails!
Let me know what you think of this manicure! Until the next post, happy holidays!
