Hello! Another beauty from Tonic Polish for you today. This one came out in the debut collection in 2016 and I successfully talked myself out of snagging this one until about a month ago. All it took was one look at the bottle in real life to fall wildly in love; I can’t believe it took me so long to pick this up!
This is a turquoise jelly polish, with a pinkish-purple shimmer, linear holographic particles, scattered holographic microglitter and pink-gold-green shifting flakies. Quite a mouthful, eh? I didn’t manage to take any pictures until about 4 days into wearing this, so excuse the tipwear. Just check out all that flakie goodness!
In the sunlight, the holo glitter particles light up the entire nail, and on low light the purple shimmer comes out to play. As with almost every other Tonic I own, this is a complex and multifaceted polish.
Ever since Baby ACD was born, most of the photos I have taken have been hurried shots that I somehow manage to sneak in, and I almost exclusively rely upon my cellphone for those. I wish I had brought out the camera for this one so I could capture all the glitter and the flakies. I can’t wait to get this beauty back on my nails!
