Altered and controlled, but delighted!

Hello, folks! Long time, no see! I wholeheartedly apologize for being off the radar for so long without an explanation. I had not expected to take such a long hiatus, but I kept thinking I would do a “proper explanation” and that just kept getting delayed. So here goes: I’ve been busy growing this little hand and the body that goes with it!

After all those grandiose plans of making a baby-themed manicure for this post, here I am four months later typing on my phone with one free hand while I nurse my little girl! My hands are wrinkled and screaming for some moisturizer, my cuticles dry and peeling, I have not slept more than a couple of hours at a stretch in months, and yet I don’t for a moment want it any other way! The clichè is true: one smile from the little one and it’s all worth it!

I have really missed this and will try to post more in the upcoming weeks and also catch up on what you all have been up to. I am a bit unsure at the moment what direction this blog will take – I have a few craft and nail art posts coming up, as well as a couple of newborn struggles I would like to share. I may not be able to devote much time to nail art in the near future, but that’s something I will definitely get back to doing when possible. Also, I can foresee wanting to write more parenting posts. We shall see… Thank you for the support if you have stuck around during my inactive phase; welcome and thank you if you are a new subscriber despite the lack of new posts. Until the next time, take care & stay blessed!
