This is the final manicure idea for Canada Day tomorrow, but would also work for the Fourth of July (or New Year’s!). I had originally thought I’d do two more manicures today, but just can’t make the time, so I’ll end this series with my favourite thing about Canada Day: fireworks! Check some other ideas out here, here, here, here and here). This is not your traditional red & white, maple leaf-y mani, but it’s still very appropriate, I think.
The base is two coats of Sinful Colours Nice Guise over a peel-off base coat and a regular base coat because this polish is a big stainer. I stamped the fireworks images over that using three metallic polishes — Maybelline Bold Gold and two dollar store metallic polishes in red and green (I think the brand is called Mariposa, but can’t recall exactly) — and Bundle Monster plate BM-XL151 from the Around the World collection. Finally, I topped it all off with some matte top coat.
You can find this and all my other Canada Day manicure ideas under the heading “Special Occasions” in the Nail Art tab. Have a great weekend & stay safe!
They are gorgeous! I love how they aren’t too bold but yet not too simple.
