31DC2017Weekly 4: Springing Green

Hello, and welcome back to yet another week of the 31DC2017Weekly! We’re doing green nails this week and technically it is supposed to be spring, so I’ll ignore the raging blizzard outside & post this springy manicure:

On my thumb, index & pinky fingers, I’m wearing two coats of the gorgeous Reminisce by ILNP. (I recently purchased a few ILNP polishes, and am slowly working through them). This polish is a green-to-blue duochrome; you can see the beautiful shift on the index finger in the picture above.

On my middle and ring fingers, I’m wearing two coats of OPI Funny Bunny. I covered my entire ring finger with decals I purchased from Aliexpress; this sheet was my favourite of all the decals I received because I just love blue, green & white together!

On my middle finger, I applied the decal to a little over half my nail. Then, I blurred the edges of the decal by sponging on some more of the white polish, a suggestion made by my sister. I absolutely love how it turned out & will probably use this technique a lot more in the future!

As I was posting this, I realized I’ve been doing white middle & ring fingers on my last three 31DC manicures! There are two more colour prompts remaining — blue & purple; do you think I should continue this trend & keep the middle two white for those as well? Let me know in the comments! 😀
